The American Legion Department of New Jersey wanted to be able to better obtain donors that would otherwise be restricted based on IRS or corporate policies. This led to the formation of The New Jersey Veterans Assistance Association as a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. Through the NJVAA we are able to better raise funds to serve our communities more impactfully.

Our Mission
The New Jersey Veterans Assistance Association (NJVAA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, affiliated with The American Legion Department of New Jersey, for the purpose of raising funds from private and corporate donors in support of major programs for veterans and their families. NJVAA will establish an endowment fund from capital deriving from major donors to create a sustainable path for veteran programs that will last well into the future.
Our Vision
The New Jersey Veterans Assistance Association (NJVAA) will use funds to directly impact the lives of veterans and their families using various programs. WE ARE EVER MINDFULL OF OUR VETERANS!
